Local coffee and bar, they serve food and drinks (other than local beer) Also, culturally speaking, music there is something! Depending on the person, you'll have a cultural trip to somewhere (can be Portugal, Brazil, France, Itália or England also) Enjoy there to destress for a bit with a mix of Portuguese and other people around the world

Thank you João for the making us feel at home while on vacation. I’m so glad we found this little spot. I came to Cafe Republica after 11pm on multiple nights and João still found me something to eat and provided amazing service. Great conversation and many regulars.

I have had the pastries from here and they are very good as well as great coffee. I met staff here named Isabel! She is awesome! Super nice and very helpful and friendly. Come visit her and try out the coffee, it’s quality! It’s a great spot to grab, enjoy the street and go!

Trying to find out where to go for dinner, we decided to stop here for a beer. I asked Isabel for dinner suggestion and she sent us to the incredible Acaso down the street. On our way back, we stopped again and were directly integrated to the group of locals that hang out there regularly :) For the following days it became my "living room" where I was even able to park my luggage because my agenda was overturned unexpectedly. It is a small bar for breakfast, lunch or drinks: if you do not want to be just the regular tourist but get in touch with locals a bit off the beaten paths of Lisbon go check them out. Open from early morning till at least 2am. Muito obrigada Isabel for your help + friendship: I know where to go next time around ;)
